I hope you are all having a great Friday. I’m having a great one because I’ve been trying out all the vegan goodies in this month’s Petit Vour subscription box.
This Soapwalla Concentrated Repair Balm is actually not as greasy or heavy as it first appears. It contains moringa, prickly pear, arnica, horse chestnut, St. John’s wort, blue tansy, and frankincense. I’m excited about this product because it claims to minimize varicose veins, redness, and dryness and my cheeks are a perfect storm of the above conditions. It massages into the skin nicely and has a pleasant scent.
I love multi-functional products like this NOTO Multi-Benne Tint Stick. The ingredient list is packed with “food for the skin”: Olive oil, candelilla wax, coconut oil, shea butter, palm oil, jojoba oil, vitamin e, sunflower seed oil, pepperming, and iron oxide. (Most of these are organic.) The peppermint gives it a nice flavor and the product goes on sheer giving you just a hint of color.
I’ve been wanting to give natural deodorant another shot so I was glad to receive this Kaia Naturals Takesumi Detox Deodorant in Juicy Bamboo. I think the trick to making natural deodorant work is to reapply often. I like that it has charcoal to neutralize odors and the bamboo scent is nice without being overpowering.
I’ve been thinking lately that I should be doing more to protect my hands from sun damage and aging, especially while driving. This Juice Beauty Green Apple Hand Cream claims to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I’m going to make an effort to use this consistently to put it to the test. It is certified organic and I love the apple scent.
That’s it from me, I hope you all have a great weekend!
